Dr. Robert Moreines

Dr. Robert Moreines practices adult psychiatry in Westfield and Upper Montclair. He specializes in the treatment of refractory Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Adult ADHD and treatment around pregnancy. He has a long history of collaborative work with psychotherapists and other mental health clinicians.

Dr. Moreines graduated from Harvard University with a BA in psychology and sociology. He attended medical school at MSU. He did his residency training at NYS Psychiatric Institute at Columbia University and was chief resident his final year.

Dr. Moreines was chief of Adult Psychiatry and Associate Medical Director at Fair Oaks Hospital, where he treated the most ill patients. A cover story in New Jersey Monthly referred to it as the hospital of last resort. He has been in outpatient practice since 1992. He was also Medical Director of Clinsearch where he was a principal investigator in clinical research trials in Mood Disorders, ADHD, Anxiety and other conditions. He supervised senior residents at NYSPI in psychopharmacology, and currently is supervising residents at Trinitas Hospital in research activities. Dr. Moreines is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, NJ Psychiatric Association and Tri County Psychiatric Association. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. He has published articles and book chapters in the fields of psychiatric diagnosis, treatment of mood disorders and Seasonal Affective Disorder. He has also lectured widely at Clinical Ground Rounds in these areas.

Dr. Clifford Goldman

Dr. Clifford Goldman is an adult psychiatrist in Westfield. He graduated with honors and majored in the Biological Sciences at The Johns Hopkins University. He obtained his medical degree at New York University. He did his psychiatric training at Mount Sinai Hospital and then served as chief resident and then unit chief on the teaching unit of the Bronx VA Hospital. Dr. Goldman was Medical Director at Fair Oaks Hospital and then Charter Behavioral System in Summit. He was co-founder and Associate Medical director of Clinsearch, a clinical research company in Summit and Kenilworth. He served as an Investigator in numerous clinical studies in the areas of major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, Schizophrenia and Attention Deficit Disorder. He has been in private practice since 1992.

Dr. Goldman is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the New Jersey Psychiatric Association. Dr. Goldman specializes in treating adults with issues such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, and bipolar disorder. He provides a comprehensive assessment and then the appropriate medical treatment. He collaborates closely with psychotherapists in the area to provide complete and cohesive treatment for his patients.

Dr. Pearl Louie

Dr. Pearl Louie is a Board certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and stress associated with concurrent medical illnesses. She provides her patients with comprehensive personalized consultations and psychopharmacologic treatments. Dr. Louie is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She was among one of the first psychiatrists in the country to also be board certified in the subspecialty of Psychosomatic Medicine.

Prior to joining the Westfield practice, Dr. Louie was an instructor in psychiatry and clinical fellow on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. She completed a medical psychiatry fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston as well as a research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Louie graduated cum laude from Columbia University in New York City. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed an internship in internal medicine, neurology, and psychiatry as well as psychiatric residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Greenwich Village, New York City. She was selected as Chief Resident of the psychiatric training program at St. Vincent's Medical Center.

Dr. Louie's research has been published in several prestigious psychiatric journals including the American Journal of Psychiatry, Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and Annals of Clinical Psychiatry.
